Acceptable Use Policy

This policy describes the activities that are not permitted on GBPHive. We enforce it to protect our customers, the platforms we integrate with (especially Google Business Profile), and the people whose data flows through the system.

1. Prohibited activities

You may not use GBPHive to:

  • Filter customers or solicit reviews in a way that violates Google or FTC review-gating policy.
  • Generate or post fake reviews, fake business listings, or fake business identities.
  • Misrepresent the ownership of a Google Business Profile or attempt to claim a profile you do not have authorization to manage.
  • Scrape, redistribute, or resell data accessed via the Google Business Profile, Search Console, Analytics, or any other connected API in any way that violates the source's terms.
  • Harass, threaten, defame, or stalk any individual through review replies, messaging, or any other GBPHive-mediated communication.
  • Impersonate any person or entity in messages, replies, or content posted via GBPHive.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to GBPHive systems, customer workspaces, or any system connected to GBPHive.
  • Use GBPHive to facilitate any activity that is illegal in the jurisdiction where the customer or end user is located.
  • Spam, bulk-message, or otherwise misuse GBPHive's review request and messaging features.
  • Reverse engineer the platform, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.

2. AI use restrictions

GBPHive's AI features are designed to assist human operators, not to operate fully autonomously against real customers. You may not configure GBPHive's AI assistant or AI reply drafting in any way that bypasses the human approval steps required for negative review responses.

3. Content responsibility

You are responsible for any content you post via GBPHive, including review replies, GBP posts, messages, and bulk operations. We do not pre-moderate user content but we will act on credible reports of policy violations.

4. Reporting

To report a violation of this policy, email [email protected] with a description of the activity and any supporting evidence. We respond within 2 business days.

5. Enforcement

Violations may result in suspension of features, suspension of the affected workspace, or termination of the account, depending on severity. Repeat or severe violations result in immediate termination. We may also report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities.

6. Updates

We may update this policy as the platform evolves and as the policies of connected services (Google in particular) evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
